Major JBL stereo upgrade but keeping stock HU

Well I worked on my hybrid battery again and got it much more balanced. The hybrid noise is much quieter! I could live with this.

Hello, I'm wanting to replace the nvx subwoofer that came with the enclosure as well. Did you fabricate that trim ring yourself?

 

i recently installed a Audiocontrol DSP amp in one it's a 6 channel 750w amp and also had intermittent whine.

i switched it out with a JL Audio DSP Amp 800w by 8 channel and whine was gone.

simply switching out the amp solved my issues.

UNCLBONZ - would you recommend the NVX box?
I'm also looking for an enclosure that i don't have to remove when carrying large cargo.

Been looking into making one myself, but if i can find some good reviews on the NVX box then i'll save myself the work. and flying fiberglass dust everywhere.

Looking to use a JL Audio shallow mount sub in it.
