I bought my ‘16 three touring new. Several years ago nobody made direct replacements for the complete wiper blade assemblies. So I have had to resort to the factory rubber inserts. Does anyone now make a complete replacement? I remember this being a ‘16 only issue and the wiper arms were changed in later models. Anyone have info or experience with this? Thank you for your help.
The factory silicone inserts are the cheapest and best option. If you want to change the whole assembly any AutoZone or Walmart will do.
I just bought a roll of commercial wiper inserts and cut them down to size. I believe the OEM inserts was rubber, not silicone. At least on my car they barely made it 18 months. The commerical roll I bought was silicone based and has lasted me more than 24 months and counting, no chatter or skips, just a nice clean wipe..
Off of E-bay, but you'll need to look at your current wipers and are they OEM. Mine had capture caps on both ends, so these slid right in. Cut them down to the length you need, my longest blade was 28", but the other is only around 15". I just measured out the old one and snipped it down to size. 4 x Universal 28" Car Bus Silicone Windshield Frameless Wiper Blade Refill | eBay
