I drove my 2012 Prius V through a pothole, and all these warning lights came on: 1. Pre-collision System 2. Hybrid System 3. Tire Pressure 4. Airbag 5. Safety Connect red light And: a beep when turning on cruise control. When setting cruise speed, it doesn't, and displays "E3". Then, while driving, these these come on for a short while, then go off: 1. Slip Indicator 2. Brake System I don't have a wiring or system block diagram to see how all these systems might have something in common. Any ideas?
The wheel speed connection looks fine. They "found" what they called rodent damage on the airbag harness. The conductors look cut, not chewed to me. They replaced the harness ($1350) and reset the codes and magically all the warning lights went off and the cruise now works. Comprehensive insurance paid, except for my $500 deductible. I still feel taken advantage of. I can't relate an airbag issue to all the other warnings.
Whatever you believe, something interrupted the data-stream to your onboard ECU's and triggered all those warnings. A bare wire shorting to frame ground would do that, after you go over a pothole. Just my 2-cents....
