I recently bought a used Prius and on an evening drive, I noticed that the high beams don't seem to do anything. The normal headlights work fine however when I push or pull the light stalk, only the blue indicator comes on but nothing noticeable with the headlights. I'm not really able to find much information about this online. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Here is some more information:

    · Front left headlight was replaced after front end damage, no mechanical, no structural damage sustained.

    · Highbeams are not working however the blue LED indicator lights up on the dashboard when the stalk is pulled or pushed.

    · When the car turns on, only the right light tuns on, the left light is not on. After 30 seconds, or when the car starts to move, does the left light turn on.

    · When the stalk is on Auto, both headlights are always on, I have not encountered a situation where they turn off. Highbeam activation makes no noticeable difference.

    · When the stalk is on headlamps, the lights are always on, highbeam activation makes no noticeable difference.

    · When the lights are on “side marker”, the left light goes off as it should however right light remains on. Activating the highbeams on the stalk makes the left light turn on however there is no difference from when it is normally on.

    · When the car is parked and turned off, the right light turns off immediately however only the left light remains on for 30 seconds as it should.
