Hi all, I noticed yesterday that the GPS in my 2016 is showing an incorrect location. When I was checking it seemed to be anywhere from a mile to 10 plus miles off. Any way to force reset/recalibrate? I did the power button press for a few seconds to reboot, but nothing changes and it's still incorrect. It's the mid tier entune 2.0 system without JBL if that makes a difference
Our GPS constellation has been sort of flaky lately. Daily accuracy products I use for supporting UAV missions have been in the 5 to 10 meter error range, sometimes briefly worse. I get errors in mapping on my Fitbit walks occasionally too. Have not noticed any GPS mapping errors in my Prius navigation though.
Huh interesting - thanks for the insight! Still, would you know how to force recalibrate or any of that in the prius?
Might be something in Techstream for that. You could ask a Toyota service advisor without incurring any charges. There could also be antenna problems, which I think is located inside the shark fin on the back of the roof.
