Cabin light does not come on when doors are open, and the overhead switch is NOT in the "off" position. The light works fine when the switch is in the "on" position, so it's not the wiring to the light itself. I can't find a bad fuse, but I'm not exactly sure if I'm looking in the right place.

Can someone tell me how to test the door jamb switches to see if they are bad?

Can anybody tell me which fuses/relays to look at?

I had that issue, recently and had to have the whole assembly replaced. About $400 at the dealer.

KCWhitney, I want to see if our circumstances are the same.

My dome light works in the "on" position. My courtesy lights at the bottom of the doors DO come on when the doors open. Is this what you were experiencing?

Another question, in your case, is "whole assembly" the dome light? The dome light plus wiring? Thanks for your reply.

If you can get the light to turn-on with the switch, it's probably not the fuse. I'd check the door switches and position of lamp switch. There are two. Map lamps and one rear center roof lamp. On mine, just unlocking the doors with my fob will activate interior lamps. If you think it's the door switch, test each individually. Opening any door that doesn't activate the lamp is a faulty switch. If you tried all 4 doors with neither lamps lighting, you've got the switches in the wrong place or the switch is bad. Again, if both map and center roof lamps should work, if set properly. If one lamp works and the other doesn't It's either the switch or the bulb, but you should be able to isolate that with the manual power switch.

    Hope this helps...

I don't really know. The dealer did it.
