I have a 2006 with a 6 CD changer, I have a few classic rock commercial CDs that I picked up from a 2nd hand store that works great, I also burnt an audio CD which works fine. My question is: Does it accept only audio CDs or other formats (MP3?) as well? Thanks in advance!
I believe it says right on the front and the lower right corner of the player mp3 and WMA compatible at least mine in my '09 does but it's not six disc or JBL so I'm just assuming the upper ended stereo would obviously have this feature I have a '07 6 disc changer JBL car with the tweeters in the back doors and all that I haven't tried a WMACD but I am playing mp3s in that six disc changer but just one at a time
If you burnt an audio CD on your CD burner what format did you select to make the audio CD MP3 or any of those others there's a bunch of them I don't remember all of them now the audio format that you can put on a CD or a DVD anyway if you burnt the CD and you're playing it that's probably an mp3 format I would imagine but then again it doesn't have to be most of the CDs I was burning back in the height of the CD burning. We're mostly MP3 because I could put a whole lot of music on one CD at a reasonable audio rate
I have used burned CDs with MP3 files on my 2006 JBL CD changer for a few years. Lately, I do not use CDs thought.
