I am planning on a long roaptrip with lots of car camping and instant pot cooking in the Gen2. I am trying to figure out wiring for this project. I want 2nd battery to be deep charge. Let me know your thoughts. TIA.
In a Prius, with its limited space, I would recommend getting a 1kWh power station instead (ac180/delta 2/c1000), as it consumes less space and labor to install than a 2nd battery + inverter,isolator,fuses,wiring etc. Make sure it produces enough power for your appliances. Additionally, if you find yourself at a campsite with a nice picnic table, you can take your setup out of the car easily and cook outside.
