... wonder who the community college dropout was, who arbitrarily ordered Hertz's rental fleet be adapted, to EVs: Hertz continues to suffer financially from bid to go electric, as J.P. Morgan downgrades stock | Just The News How these rental car companies do their hiring, they pay chicken feed to mindless pencil pushers with low GPA baccalaureates, just smart enough to push the buttons. They never hire smart people - Samuel, '04 Ruthiemobile
I do not know... People give THEM lots of money for borrowing a car. There are more than one car rental companies. A lot more.
Live and learn. Ever notice how close to lying rental agents can be about company policy, rental agreement, reimbursement amount if returned early, insurance and what it actually covers and supervisors attitudes. Ever talked on the phone to a rental companies tech support?
"The challenges don't stop there. Hertz's heavy debt load is tying its hands, potentially forcing the company to navigate choppy waters without the lifeline of share buybacks. It's a CAR rental company. We're not exactly talking about Boeing Aerospace here. If they go under somebody else will be operating out of their airport kiosk before the cleaning crew gets a chance to empty the trash cans. Frankly, I think that their biggest problem IS electric. Zoom calls.
or renting EV's to drivers that don't know anything else about EV's except maybe how and or where to plug them in when the battery pack gets low on charge. If the driver even knows how or where to do that before renting it. Than there is Ube R. Hello.
Would love to hear the other side of the story - from Car Rental Store Employees talking about what a nightmare the people they encounter are. Watching at the Airport I seen some customers that must come from outer space as to how they communicate and treat other humans. Anyone who has a job interacting with the general public these days deserves a gold star. Probably 80% of people are wonderful the other 20% are absolute nightmares - and it seems that number is growing.
i'd like to be a fly on the wall when someone from the division of motor vehicles goes to rent a car, or vice versa
