I live in Europe and have USA version Prius XLE 2023.
I would like to change F->C in Climate module and also outside temperature in dash panel.
It is stupid that there is no such option in settings...

Has someone tried this mod? I think it should be doable with Techstream, but would like to know before purchasing cable.
I know it's doable because local guy told he has done it, but he asked 200 Eur only for climate part :(

Maybe someone would be kind enough to check in Techstream if there is such option?
    Thanks!

I don't. Actually, I almost got used. Basically, I need to adjust +/- few degrees and leave it constant most of the time :)
But if in future I decide to resell, I believe it would be easier with Celcius.

Unless the Euro version allows you to adjust temperature in increments of half a degree C the US version allows you to set the temperature more exactly. A one degree change in C is almost 2 degrees in F. If you leave it at a constant setting it doesn't really matter much. If you're too hot you turn it down and if you're too cold you turn it up regardless of the numerical display.

I doubt that this would make it difficult to sell the car. If it allows for a finer adjustment of the interior temperature that might be considered an advantage.

Exactly. Mostly cargo cult. Just don't say anything, for starters. If a fahrenheit deisplay was a deal breaker, the buyer wasn't serious lol.

A speedo that can't be revised between miles and kilometers is more serious, by far, and that was the case with 2016 model year, in North America at least. Toyota's response was to provide a conversion chart (tell owners to go pound sand).

Unsurprisingly, it does do half-degree-Celcius increments, for that reason.

Unsurprisingly a Japanese company did not forget its Japanese customers when it comes to fine grained temperature control - EU gets it as an afterthought.

And that image shows why the OP will probably not be able to do what he wants. The LCD screen in the climate control display is made up of individual segments. The US display just doesn't have the 0.5 increment segments. And he can't source a new climate control module from an EU car because those cars have dual zone systems and the US model doesn't.

He can source one from Canada. We use celcius and the car comes with it. I could change the entire car to imperial except for the climate.
