    Dear all,

Does anyone know what the bus bar links are made of on the Gen 3 HV battery? They look like pure copper, but that can't just be it because copper would oxidise and turn green. I hear they get nickel plated to prevent this, nothing nickel looking on what I saw, just some copper coated furry/green white residue.

So I'm ultrasonically cleaning them now (did white vinegar first, and now deionised water), but of course, I've probably removed the nickel plating? If they should also have the plating to give them all a specific conductivity, does anyone have any numbers for me?

    Thanks

That makes things easier. The thickness of them checks out at 0.85mm thick?

If its not aftermarket plated ones, a rock tumbler is the preferred way for battery pack rebuilders to effortlessly do that cleaning work...
