Owner's manual says this setting must be customized by the dealer (p113). I texted my salesperson and he said it's not available on the Prius...Has anyone been able to setup this feature?

I suspect you’re better off talking to a service rep or technician instead of the sales staff -- quite often the sales people are completely clueless on this sort of stuff

Like it states in the asterisk, it needs to be customized. You can do it with some bluetooth adapters like Carista or you can ask the dealer to do it for you. Some do it for free, others for a fee.

I set it on mine and it works fine, minus the FOB range but that's a different issue.

How many windows can you control? How far is the factory key fob range for this? Can you modify it? Thanks!

    All the windows.

Key fob range is garbage (15-20 ft maybe?)

You can modify the settings for controlling windows. You might be able to try modifying the remote for a better range but haven't seen anyone try it, yet.

This feature is very useful for me for I live in the hot climate of Southern California. I am able to do that on my 2018 Q5 to remote control the windows to go up and down before I get in my car. The original range was like 5 feet but I used an OBD11 bluetooth devise to modify the range to very very far.

Which tool do you recommend for our Prius?

I tried Carista because I didn't feel like digging through multiple bluetooth adapters to find one with a real chip and their app allows to do it fairly easily. Unless they changed it, I only recall a window down option. I don't think there is one you can press the FOB to roll them up unfortunately. Maybe in TIS (Toyota Software) but I don't have access to it.

TIS is a website Toyota operates with a bunch of technical information like manuals that you can read.

Techstream is the name of Toyota software you can use on a laptop for diagnosing a car.

(Just to throw more initials into the mix, their latest revamp of the Techstream software, "global Techstream plus", now gets referred to mostly as "GTS+".)

I like to drive in Individual driving mode, but the car keeps defaulting back to the normal mode. Is there any way to set up the car to remember the last setting?
