Hardness of center console lid

    Anyone got ideas on how to soften up this center console lid so it works better as an elbow rest?

    There are plenty on Amazon. I got one that is nice. I can't find it though, but there are ones like this.

    Duh, thanks. I should have looked there to begin with. Found one for about $20 I'll try out.

    As follow-up, I purchased one off Amazon. It fit the lid fine but offered very little in the way of extra cushioning, making it a near waste of $20. To salvage the purchase I slipped a folded wash cloth inside the cover for extra cushion. That helped a lot. Foam would do the same so will try that when I run across a piece I can cut to fit.

    I asked ekr to provide me extra fabric to cover the center armrest and door panel inserts. Not sure if they will provide it because I haven't received my covers yet.

    From past experiences with the prius, the fabric in the door panel and armerst will wear through very fast.
