Anyone gone through this before. Looks like this piece is replaceable by itself. Link to part here Will be looking to pay out of pocket and getting quotes. Interested if anyone else has had just this piece replace?
Not yet on my Prime, but on my 05 Prius it was a Toyota only piece of glass. You have to order it through a dealer and have your favorite glass glass company install it. Part and labor was around $500
$350 cash for same glass at Best Price Auto Glass in the parking lot of LKQ Pick a Part in San Bernardino CA in march 2023.
I replaced mine just fine. Getting old glass out requires a tool to cut thru black sealing glue. warm up the silicon sealer so it flows out easy. autoglass99 | eBay Stores has a video. note the jury-rigged razor blade cutter.
