Anyone PPF wrap their 2024 with the molded fin?

    Just got my PPF wrap and they left the fin off because they said it was too difficult due to it not being able to detach. Anyone have experience with this?
    2nd question: has anyone had PPF wrap done and how well did they get into the corners? I worry that I may not have gotten a good job.[​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Can't see the pictures but what do you mean they left it off? That sounds like some amateur job.
    Maybe try uploading the pictures on imgur or bb and posting the links here.

    Yes.

    My guy dropped the rear of the interior ceiling liner in the vehicle to detach the fin so he could properly lay down black PPF under it and get a proper seal.

    For the fin itself he used a black WRAP (not PPF) material since the PPF didn't want to conform easily around the fin's shape. Then he put it all back together.

    The fin is detachable on the metal roof, but not on the glass or solar roofs.

    Yes, it's a glass roof. I got the pictures to work, they're in a reply. I think maybe my options are either having creases on it or just having a vinyl wrap? I think the vinyl would shrink around it whereas the ppf is kind of laid onto it, right?
