Bumping this thread as the attached pdf for the torque spec's was usefull.

Although it has been demonstrated here that the wiper blades and the cowl do not have to be removed, your doing yourself a disfavor but not cleaning up the junk that will have accumulated over the year behind the cowl.

I had a semblance of mini-nest of the right ,and lots of leave and dirt in the cavity under cowl.

At 96000 km I removed the plugs inspected them cleaned them , measure the Mohms, they were about 4.59 MegaOhms new ones I had just in case were coming in 5 megaOhms. The value in the Toyota attached PDF is suppose to be around 10 megOhms. I measured the spark plug gap and they will still the same as the new ones around .031 inches.

I cleaned the thread and re-installed them at 15 Ft pounds.

All 4 pistons has some form of scoring, this is the worst, I change the oil 2 years year fall and spring, at around 5000 KM between changes.

All the valves were very clean, I was wondering about carbon buildup, None ! I guess these engines are port injected ?
