Hey, I bought a used 2013 plug in with 20K miles in Feb 2017, 118K miles on it today. Have changed the oil and filter every 5-7K miles, air filters but other than new tires have done nothing else. Now it seems new plugs are a given but would really welcome some opinions on what else I should at and for those with more miles what I should plan on for the future. Thank you
if you didn't get a maintenance schedule, you can get one at toyota.com/owners look into egr circuit cleaning before it blows the head gasket. this humorous video gives a good rundown, and there are plenty of threads here: watch
Toyota USA recommends a brake inspection every 30k miles. Toyota Canada recommends a brake fluid change at same interval. Mendel Leisk recommends an EGR cleaning every 50k miles. a transaxle fluid change wouldn’t hurt. some relevant links in my signature; on a phone turn it landscape to see signatures.
