I had a tiny crack and then half an hour later it turned into a long curving line crack. Will it keep getting longer? How much should a new windshield cost?

    Thanks

I'm familiar with your area, grew up in Durham, relatives all over Hillsboro, Mrbane, Greesboro.

Auto glass now out on Miami boulevard in Durham I mean that's what I paid during the pandemic even I can't imagine it's gone up that much anyway it usually doesn't with auto glass and they sell the what is it temper light or whatever and I got the one with the tent across the top plus the black dots and blah blah blah no problems I want to say it was 1:30 something and of course there's tax and all that nonsense but I do believe it was under $200 all said and done out the door I remember the same place 5 years ago it was 88 bucks no matter what I drove in there and well you know small European import that's what I used to pay of course you know now you got to get a whole lot of nothing for a whole lot of something

I think they're online too auto glass now here there on 70 in Miami boulevard there's a quick way to cut through and get in the back way if you go over there your GPS should show it to you The yellow building and I do believe you can look them up online You can schedule all your business and just show up with the car and sit in the waiting room for 40 minutes and boom you're done been there many times with many Toyotas

If you have full coverage insurance, windshield replacement is likely covered.
If you don't have full coverage, or it's not covered, you can call around and find out
an exact price, rather than having "guesses" here.... (y)

Well that's where all the Chicanos and the people that know what they're really doing and how to do it for less and all that are and their businesses I have no problem in East LA I don't even live on that side of the world be one of the first places I go when I get there generally speaking I have friends that live there and they are still there oh well where I live here in North Carolina I go to the same area here in North Carolina or all the Spanish guys and a lot of ethnic people are they come here and learn how to do business very quickly and pretty much properly that's where the auto glass places go because that's where they sell Auto Glass I don't care if it's getting shot out broken with hammers whatever and slow level crimes people stealing cell phones I don't know but you don't sell a whole lot of auto glass or June and Beaver cleaver live that's just a fact You got to go where they're moving product and I mean the glass were talking about.

You're in California You should have insurance and glass coverage built into your coverage so you just show up somewhere and they take care of it and you don't even know what it cost or what the insurance company paid That's what that meant It's pretty simple those states have taken this petty repair out of the mix so that people aren't riding around with cracks in glass and things like that
