Anyone have the body side moldings? Did you install them of Toyota dealer? Can you post a pic? How far up from bottom of door to bottom of molding did you install them for front end of moldings and very rear end of moldings? (I know there are instructions but I did my RAV prime much more angled and everyone had told me they look much better and sportier, like a stripe.) I’m trying to see how they look on the Prius. (I’m not sure if they’d even give any protection as the Prius is so low relative to other doors. )
I see them on a white higher-trim Gen 5 Prius Prime in a parking lot here. In my opinion, they don't look good.
Not a fan. I think it takes away from the aesthetic. As much as I hate door dings, I'll just deal with it when it happens. So far, 15 months in, no dings
I have them, they did nothing to stop the accrual of several deep scratches on the driver's side, and look ugly to boot. Do not recommend!
The thing about that is, what assure you that the other driver's door is going to hit or have contact at that exact horizontal1 inch area.
