I have a hybrid battery that cost me $4,500 and $1,000 to install. The car has 250,000 miles and it needs a head gasket. Some parts are also for sale if you'd like (ie: windows / doors / seats / hoods / trunks / engine). I'm going to sell the car to pick n pull for $400 but I'd like to offer my hybrid battery for sale at $2,000. It has 50,000 miles. I have the paperwork from the exclusive prius mechanic in my town.
It is a local pick up only and you will have to research how to remove it, store it, transport it. Hence the $2,000 sale price. It is obo but will not tolerate tire kickers.

Can you take a photo of the inside of the battery?
Photo of the markings on the internal modules?
    This would add potential buyers.
The product needs to be shown face to face))

That's probably not going to happen after you cool off a while and get things into perspective. Maybe in California it's possible but down here where I'm in the southeast yeah that's not going to really go on but good luck with it apparently they're lots of folks trying to fix generation threes so. But never rains in California so all those parts should be nice and new looking I guess.

$4500 battery and $1000 to install. $5500 is what you paid? That’s pretty Gnarly.

anyways no mention of this was new or rebuilt, picture of the entire battery and modules with serial numbers would be helpful.

Battery prices are all over the place recently.
You may get a quick sale depending on local prices for new in your area of California

Id of bought the whole car for $3000 if you were in my area. A blown headgasket is a easy weekend fix for me. Its a shame you junked it for less than 1k :(

Battery is a bit overpriced in my opinion, even if brand new. Only because i have the option to buy 28 cells at $35 per each on ebay.

You got a USED battery.... not "rebuilt". It's very missleading.
You can get a NEW battery from nexcell for under $2000...

I am happy as it's good. And I got 10.month left on a 2011 warranty. And car runs good. I understand what you are saying. But 216k used as a taxi . Uber 10 months left is enough. I replace some cells on my old one.#12 was coming up bad. I could have easily put in a new cell. At 62 years old. It was nice to drive to green teck in n.n.j and pay$ 1060 with tax and just drive away.. when testing mine. I think all were wore down even . Kinda like bald tires. I did the Dr pruis test. Idk. How good that is. But I had a 6 months warning.
1 day triangle ️ of death came on.
Gosh I learned alot on this car
Thier great for doing uber. Making 5k a month gross on an 7k car 1.5 years ago. Not much problems.
I created a problem doing the head gasket.. I think it was still good. Oh well.
