I thought there was another thread on this car. Anyway, I hope Toyota builds this one. They seriously need a car to get our pulses racing. Ok, they have the FJ Cruiser which people buy because it's cool not because it's practical or a Toyota. Now bring that over to the sports car side. Give the people something desirable. Nissan could do that with their 350Z. Toyota, it's now your turn! P.S. Any way to make it "affordable"? i.e. Cdn$40k or less?
The official press release and more pics. Fascinating, but I can't imagine a 'mid-priced' car with the exotic materials mentioned. I'm guessing (hoping) we'll see it judging from all the big names and new concepts involved. Wouldn't it be a hoot if it gets the Oregon tax credit too, like the Accord Hybrid performance oriented system? http://pressroom.toyota.com/Releases/View?...YT2007010379159 TP, I disagree about the FJ Cruiser. I'm on my 2nd now, a TRD SE 6M/T. It's the most versatile vehicle I've ever owned, a Toyota and a true bargain...not to mention in shorter supply than Prius and the 1st was a resale home run. A pic of my 2nd FJ taken today in The Gorge:
