Definitely see why you have a Toyota Corolla hybrid. Most people are so emotionally attached to a heavy pickup that they feel insecure driving something small and fuel efficient. I have a RAM 3500 Cummins, and rarely, ever use it...only when I need it to tow a 20,000 lb RV, etc. I drive virtually all my other miles on my hybrid, or take a beat-up 2001 Xterra if I need to offroad. Tough for some people to have more than one vehicle, but if you're driving a huge, heavy truck around every time you need to go to the grocery store, don't complain about the cost of food...it all went up a lot with your grocery trip gas. A small hybrid or Corolla for those kinds of around-town trips, will pay for itself over a bit of time. Just great to see someone paying attention to intelligent use of a huge truck. I wish more would do that, rather than making it a phallus extension that they have to drive all the time. Funny, sometimes (in Texas, particularly) I see very modified (lifted) pickups do rude crap to me on the highway, because I'm in a hybrid. It's pretty obvious when they do blatant idiocy to try to get a reaction. I never react....but it makes me chuckle that I have a RAM3500 with a 6.7L diesel and they're angry at me for being a "libtard" or some crap because I'm driving a hybrid.
I don't drive my Corolla Hybrid much but I have a general problem with truck drivers driving etiquette . I mostly drive a 15 mile area from Lake Conroe to the Woodlands. I live in the middle of that.
