    I have an '04.

I finished installing an XM radio today. Works great. Now the driver's side window doesn't continue to have power after I shut power off. You know how when you shut off power you can still roll up windows until you open the driver's side door? Well no more. The passenger side still works, but not driver's side.

Also, you know how you can pull up or push down on the window switch to make the window go up all the way or down all the way without continuing to hold the switch? It no longer works.

This seems like it may be a fuse somewhere, but I sure can't figure out where. I looked at all the fuses under the steering whell, but none seemed blown. Check all the regular little fuses under the hood; they too seemed fine.

    Thoughts? Help?

    Thanks...

the prius doesn't have the power after fuction... so that solves that one.

roll the window all the way down.. then all the way up.. do this 2x... then your "auto" feature will come back.

it's a normal glitch of having the power cut to it.

Mine does. The power windows continue to operate for up to a minute (+ or -) or until any door is opened after the car is turned off.

power the window all the way down and hold the down, or up for that matter, button for 5 seconds. That will re-initalize the auto feature and should restore the power function.

Mine used to operate after shutting off power. Not since I installed the XM radio, but I'm heading out there now to see if the fix suggested here works. I'll report back in a few minutes...

Success!!! Thanks so much for the help. Both the auto up & down works again. So does the power after I've shut off the car.

    Thanks again!
