New battery inquiry

    Where do you guys get your Prius batteries? Dealership or auto supply store?

    A little clarity please. Do you mean the 12V battery or the traction battery?

    Your in the gen4 Prime forum, so I'm assuming the 12V battery under the hood. The traction battery is still under warranty, unless you've outrun the mileage warranty.
    It's a small standard lead acid battery that can be bought anywhere. IMHO, the dealer battery is too expensive.
