So I understandably, when you turn off the climate, the calculated EV range goes up since the heat pump isn't being powered, but why doesn't the same thing happen when you turn OFF the A/C itself (but still in Auto)? In the multi-information display, it even shows no power going to the heat pump, so the displayed EV range should go up, right? Nope, stays the same. Any reason, beside another quirk that will never be fixed?

Could be that turning AC button off and leaving the auto ON keeps the heatpump in the loop . In this mode heating could be provided if the temp in the car is lower than the temp setting . The car does not know your confort level that could call for heat, so a very unprecise estimate of the power needs.:(

That would make sense, if the multi-function display still showed the heat pump as being powered but it isn't. It is shown exactly like when the Climate is turned off.

There's no heat pump indication in the display.

    What about this?

It shows energy flowing to it when in Auto On or A/C On, otherwise there is no energy flowing to it.
