I see a gen 1 Prius for sale near me for $700 and wonder if the cats on these bring as much as the gen 2.
I got $700 for the last one I sold. You'd get another $200-$300 for the rest of the car as scrap metal.
This is a great return for anyone that drives their car into the ground. Anyone know the value for a gen 3 cat?
It's why you can get used parts for Gen1s for free. Just buy a wrecked/disabled car at auction, sell the cat to get your money back, and keep any parts you need. I do it over and over.
