So we all know a user who became a member here on 3/13/2024 who goes by mudder is now banned.

He has only been here to create posts knocking another members work, you can verify that by looking at his profile.

Mudder a former Texan with friends there too...

Then we have another member who started here on 5/30/2024 who goes by Stencil_box who lives in Texas.

He too has only posted knocking another members work.

He posts in the thread "My project lithium battery caught fire"

Saying in post #208 he got a v2.0 battery on 8/2023 and then got a FREE upgrade to v2.5 with a soother on 2/2024.

I asked him for his order # but he did not respond to that.

In post #210 his shows a picture of "burnt" modules.

I told him it looks like he put a blow torch to them and he did not respond.

On 4/2024 he had an incident, "whether the soother was installed or not" he said.

(In my thread "project lithium soother test" his post # 213 he says mudder does not know who he is and that he collected no bounty for sending mudder the soother.)

Then in post #214 he says the soother was installed and has same experience as sworzeh.

    Then in the thread
"discussion: nexpower v3 sodium-ion battery announcement"

his post #37 he says he got a prototype v3.3 on 5/10/2024 (this is the prototype mudder got to make his video)

You see what we have here are two friends who conned our member jacktheripper who has been here since 12/13/2017

Stencil_box got a free v2.5 upgrade with a soother and sent the soother to mudder, then he claims the v2.5 battery burnt and gets a prototype v3.3 and he also sent that to mudder.

I will upload the image stencil_box says was the burnt modules and then the image or sworzeh's burnt modules and then an image of a module I had in my car with the soother for sure installed.

So how can we trust anything mudder says if he denies knowing who stencil_box is when they are friends from Texas?

How can we trust what stencil_box says if he says mudder doesnt know who he is?

They have been gaslighting everyone here and are trying to sabotage Jacktheripper's work as mudder wants to be a competitor and his friend stencil_box helped him get the products he needed to make his YouTube videos.

Here is an image the stencil_box claims caught fire.

Notice the modules are flat against eachother with no modules swollen.

Just looks like he took a torch to them.

So why is the stencil_box image not swollen and he wasnt sure the soother was installed or not, well because he sent the soother to mudder thats why.

he just put a blow torch to the v2.5 and got a v3 prototype after he did that and then sent the prototype to mudder.

PriusChat has a whole lot of members, who might not all have followed the few threads involved the way you have.

Unless something has changed since the last message from Danny that I saw, 'banned' above should be 'temporarily banned', as explained by Danny so that mudder perhaps can "come back with a different approach."

The whole situation at this point is probably the kind that benefits from all parties steering away from tendentious spinning.

Hey welcome to the table chapman, have a seat...

Facts are facts chapman and banned is banned.

Click on his profile, it says banned not temporarily banned, whether Danny said it was temporarily, that can always change.

You seem to not notice that these two new members here are friends and conned another member into getting products that were used to make videos, getting intel and trash talking at the same time.

What you say is your opinion and thats okay, it is how you think and there is nothing anyone can do about that.

But this is not just for your eyes and your opinion, this is for all the eyes that saw the lies as they were being told.

Truth will be told and the truth hurts.

There is no need to trust mudder or stencilbox.

Trust however, that the same laws of science apply anywhere and any time.

Repeating their experiments, and gathering different results is your (and jack's) best and only way to prove them wrong.

If you get the same results, no biggie, it simply means there is work to be done to improve the product's reliability and safety. This is Jack's promise of constant iteration and improvement, is it not?

This is how pretty much any scientific disagreement is solved.

I know I trust John Sullivan’s expertise and experience far more than the SoCal sales crew.

This thread was definitely created in the correct sub-forum, "Fred's House of Pancakes". I will give you credit for that.

As far as two members that live and/or used to live in Texas are friends, I see no proof given for that statement. I think that there have been many millions of people who live and/or used to live in Texas. Does this mean they are all friends with each other?

Hey rjparker welcome to the table, have a seat.

As I already posted an image of sworzeh's battery that is nothing new that you are posting.

As for you trusting John Sullivan's aka mudder's "expertise" and "experience" well I guess you are one of those that fall for his con.

Aside from any promo codes I get to help this community save some cash on products they may like, I am a tester and consumer and have these HV batteries in my car that is my daily driver and have my family in.

No fire or smoke and even with a soother installed, nothing dangerous about these.

As for sworzeh's issue, Jack responded with what the cause was with the image below. Screenshot_2024-06-12-09-45-42-1.jpeg

Hi brian1954 welcome to the table, have a seat.

There is no reason for some random person who doesnt know mudder to send him their HV battery or soother to test, without taking a bounty that was also offered by mudder by the way.

They know eachother and lied about it plain and simple.

Mudder knows who stencil_box is by name and told him to come here and post.

    J.S. was just "protecting" T.W.

I don't remember starting this thread, maybe cause of the response I got from Chapman and the less volatile post from mutter whom wasn'[t offensive at all in his post, but did confirm what I read in his post months eariler at insightcentral.
Discussion: NexPower V3 Sodium-ion Battery Announcement | PriusChat

Don't get me wrong, mutters project is as good for a gen 1 honda insight as @jacktheripper project is for the Toyota and GM cars he already supports, besides his original Gen 2. I'm #156 private vvillovv
But that the thing, mutters project is still beta, soon to be sold as a kit. for around $2500 minimun.

And mutters interest in the Prius community (so far anyways) is for the $ he thinks is available from the Prius community - see his post in the link above. Only read Chapman post if you want a good laugh at my expense.

His interest in a Prius lithium replacement for Prius NiMH is not like his interest in his own Gen 1 insight.
His profile sig is NiMH is dead.
Keep in mind none of the projects at insightcental for the Gen 1 insight ever supported any other honda except the gen 1 insight, except maybe the mind numbing work reported by Peter in the UK that he did on the Gen 2 Civic.

Maybe I'm out of place for reporting here. Both chap and mutter went on my ignore list. And it seems to me this subject is not gonna cool off anytime soon, which kinda sucks for me as I'd like to ask Jack if he might be able to make 11 cylinder stick pairs for my old hybrid, but wouldn't until mutter backs off with his capitalism 101.

mutters gone, so ask away. i've never been a mod (or a site owner) and i respect their decisions.
my preference is for deleting offensive posts. i've never had anything against jack, and often recommend dr. prius

There's a special kind of pain when you realize you've been betrayed by those you thought were friends… not once, but twice.

First, it was TheLastMojo, and now Stencil_box—both of them swayed by Mudder, who seemed more focused on tearing me down than anything else. It’s heartbreaking to see how easily people you trusted can turn against you by listening to the so-called expert, all in the name of competition.

But I will not give up, I am committed to bringing the V3 sodium-ion battery to market, even if it means taking out a loan. This is my way of thanking those who have supported me and this project in the past 7 years. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

    @jacktheripper ,

I have seen the following question asked a few times on this forum, and I have not seen a reply. Can you please tell everyone about your formal education (degree earned and major) and your work experience before starting project lithium?

    Thank you for your reply.

Ok, @jacktheripper , and for Jack only, for transparency, so what was the reason @2k1Toaster tried explaining to you very early on, that the Prius NiMH control system would cause problems with your lithium battery version? His warnings were ignored, if not blatantly told he was wrong. Did his warnings come true? We have the usual suspects singing the glory of the lithium pack day in and day out, yet nowhere were there any postings about problems. Were there no problems? Or were there problems that were just trying to be kept on the downlow? Did you not threaten "warranty difficulties" if a customer kept posting about problems?
Are you offering your new pack to customers as a warranty replacement for the old packs?

I'm all for new products. But not defective products that are protected by rabid dogs with the theory of beating disagreement into the ground by idiocy. Or products that have problems that try to get covered up. You take everything as personal attacks, but people should expect better of any company that we purchase products from, why would we not expect it from you also? The vast majority of people making things have great intentions. That doesn't mean great intentions always result in great long term products, especially if "experts" provide warnings or guidance that is ignored. Who pays the real price for that? The people who buy it and have to deal with it. You guys want everyone to trust you. Explain what you've done to earn that trust? Devoted years to designing a product? Given great customer service? Does that earn trust in a product or manufacturer? Do you hire contractors to work on your home because they've been in business 10 years and have good intentions? 75% of contractors fit that description and still do poor quality work. What if contractors just had salespeople that killed everyone that says they do crappy work? Does that do the community any good? You guys act like this community should protect you. Well, then why don't you clear up all the haziness with the community about what was going on with your first couple versions instead of deploying smoke and mirrors. Make it a two way street?
