Really struggling to turn by reverse beep off. Followed the following instructions but no luck: Am I missing something?
Or when you fix the CM monitor if you flip the CM monitor over grab your pliers and pull the speaker off the back of the CM monitor but the CM monitor back into the car or place the dash now you will have no beeps of any kind ever in the car That's what I did to my loaded JBL 06 it's a wonderful thing.
That only works on North American market Prii. You'd have to hear from someone outside the USA/Canada whether software solutions like Carista or Dr Prius would work on your car. As for me, I like it on. It saved me from reversing into someone at a traffic light so saved me a lot of grief.
It can also cause a little. Loan a Prius to a visiting guest and they may come running back in from the driveway claiming the car has some sort of fault: when it is put in reverse the car won't stop beeping and the "R" flashes on the dashboard!
