Spark Plug code for 2011 Prius

    Hello everyone, i'm looking to replace spark plugs for my car. Base on the manual, I should buy
    SC20HR11, however, I see many people say now we should use SK16R11 instead. Is it true ? Should I stick to the old code or new code ? Thank you beforehand for your response!

    From a brief check it looks like SK16R11 doesn't even have the correct thread size at 14 mm. SC20HR11 has a 12mm thread size. So between those two I'd definitely go SC20HR11. I feel like you are thinking of something else (perhaps SC16HR11, don't quote me on that) that people were switching to based on a TSB or something. In that case, I would feel OK with either one.

    The absolute main thing to remember is to buy them from a trusted source. Dealer or parts store only. The ones on eBay and Amazon (and who knows how many other sources) are counterfeits.
