I also didn’t like the blank front tag mount so ordered a 4" half sized license plate blank and a Gazoo Racing sticker on Ebay to make my own tag that fits in the factory tag mount. This way the tag doesn't hang down below the provided frame.
Do you think it is possible to remove the bump and blend the paint in that area or would the whole front bumper need resprayed? I hate to take a brand new car and repaint right away.
You would have to ask a body shop because it would have to be cut out and rebuilt. The front bumper would have to be resprayed and I don't think it would be viable expense wise. Another option I considered was adding framed driving lights instead of the Gazoo Racing plate but again that would have required cutting holes in the front bumper.
