Some vehicles have a backup beeper to alert others that you are backing up. My Prius has an annoying backup chime on the inside to alert ME that i am backing up…which i’m already aware of that fact. How am i supposed to hear that i just backed over the neighbor kids bicycle with the screeching chime blaring in my ear? Is disabling it only possible with the TIS software, or is there a secret menu to access?
You can buy a mini-VCI dongle online that comes with a hacked copy of Toyota Techstream you can run on an old Windows computer to change all vehicle settings.
