The rear dvd players sound only works when the headphones that are plugged in are wobbled, ie the headphone jack has a loose connection inside the dvd, the headphones i have 2 are brand new, i have found somebidy to repair but he needs part numbers,
I don't know about part numbers as I have a '14 v with no such fanciness. From an electronics stand point, I would try cleaning the jacks out with a qtip (some cotton removed so you don't have to force it) and some good alcohol. 8f that didn't work then I would try resoldering the connection of the jack to the board. I've seen to many sh... crappy... soldering jobs done on components these days...
