Hey folks! I'm and old hand, have had the pleasure of driving three priiuses two gen 2, and my current gen 3. I've owned the gen 3 since 2016, but it has been parked for a few years. I'm going to try and get it back in commute shape (post in gen3 maintenance sub-forum), as I just learned my commute got long enough that my Jeep WK2 (grand cherokee) is not going to cut it as a daily anymore. I Would like to get a newer prius, but finances are what they are, so fixing up the gen 3 it is. I bought it and my gen2 as work vehicles when I was an independent courier. I"ve also owned two Cmaxs, one energi (phev) and one hybrid and a gen 2 Volt. Wish me luck on reviving my 2010, going to try and get it going again without spending an arm and a leg. -Ned
