Wanted to see if there were any issues, or causes unit head to fail, as in no radio, no nav, no anything. I have read some anecdotal reports of not working and scrambling head's memory requiring replacement. Or card just worked right out of the box, no issues Thanks for help before I order.
I bought one from a third party selling this on Amazon. I try to update the navigation data (the one that is currently running on my 2017 Prius Prime Advanced-with an 11.6 in screen-is 2021 data), and it did not work. After I replace the current microSD card with the new one, and after I turn the car on, I go to “settings,” and software update, and say Update, the system tells me that the new software is not compatible with the car. I’m not sure if I’m not doing this correctly, or this actual microSD and the data on it is incompatible with my car. The microSD card says “86271 0E076.”
