I’m curious if when anybody else’s 2010 Prius “expired“. I get that the map stopped working but the audio won’t work anymore and the back up camera doesn’t come on. Is this an issue with my “in dash system” or does it have to do with the update? I use maps on my phone but I can’t play CD or play music from my phone over car speakers. It DID work for awhile after the map system problem…♀️
It shouldn't. The map isn't connected to anything. It's a DVD-based map. If you can't play even music, then I suspect it's an issue with the headunit.
short of a full blown diagnosis by an expert, perhaps look for a working salvage unit to replace it with. or new aftermarket
