I'm retired, since 2008 from Chrysler. I owned a 2007 Prius from 2010-2013. Late Saturday afternoon I bought a nice looking, 2021 Prius L Eco with 44K miles. A Sarasota Florida car, with some trips up to Maine and back. The original owner traded it in for a smaller SUV at my local Chevy dealership- and after it had been through the full dealer inspection process (I see new Rainex wiper blades) I bought it. This is my 3rd used car from them. July 11th will mark 3 years since it was sold new. I still see the remnants of the pandemic dealer ripoff sales from back then, green N2 tire valve caps, the card with six windshield Re-treatments, never used = $500 value! I suppose this Prius was over $30K out the door back then. I truly hope, I keep this car 10 years. I wonder if the owner liked the Platinum Toyoguard he had to buy? How much extra was that, $1500? I paid $20,900 for this car. From the looks of it, this car was garaged and did not sit out in the driveway. My next job is make room for two cars in my garage before another hurricane hits us. Mark Cape Coral, FL- since 2009. - sold our home 2 years ago, at the peak of the market, renting and hoping to move out of Florida very soon.
Nicel lookin Prius and love your avatar .... Rainx blades lol: There's a trick ( I still haven't figured out yet ) to reinstalling OEM blades. It usually takes me a half hour of scratching my head to attach the blades to the wiper arms. There's this tiny peg inside the arm where the blade slides into it and no matter which angle the blade is pushed in that peg blocks it, except of one angle or something like that. Once it's positioned the right way it slips in so easy it's another head scratcher, until the next time. They are so easy to take off, Hello !
The avatar was originally a meme I made for my daughter’s gaming channel on Twitch- she was a competitive Valorant gaming player . I made her a meme from her channel- she has two ferrets - they are her talisman , haha.
I worked briefly at Advance Auto and received windshield wiper training, haha- the main thing was try and sell the warranty to the customer. I never knew about Prius car camping 14 yrs ago when I bought my Gen2- I’ll probably try that soon.
