Ok my fault. I was in Walmart and I lost my keys. And the scumbag who found them 30 seconds after I dropped them did not do the right thing and return them to Customer Service. I'm trying to replace the FOB and it's quite a hassle. I have a 2022 Prius Prime bought 8/15/22 and the FOB has HYQ14FBC on it. The board inside is: 231451-0351. Guess what? These are specs for a Highlander or Camry remote. I called the dealer and he said the correct part is: 89904-47790, and it is a HYQ14FLA and the board ends in 0410. So I'm betting that if I buy the dealer part, it might cancel out the 1 FOB that I have left when they program it. But for sure, I cannot find a FOB EXACTLY like the 1 I have remaining. Has anyone run into this problem?
The placard in your pic of your fob matches my 2016 exactly. If it were me, I'd let the dealer replace the fob and grind the key. When they program the new fob, they will remove the missing fob, so only the two you currently have will ever work with the car.
