Where can I find a spare tire jack and wrench? I travel outside of regular hours and regular populous areas. If I get a flat tire I'm supposed to use the repair kit. If the tire's flat it wont hold air to use the kit, it wont allow a jack to slide under it because its so low already and now its on the ground, no spare so what will AAA or others do when and if I can get someone out to remedy. I would hope some entrepreneur would have a kit that fits this need.
Oops posted too soon. Found this site : modernspare Couldn't post link, this forum says I haven't met minimum requirements. 2nd attempt, was told " suspicious URL detected". Input make, model, year and site matches product. Site says spare will fit my 2023 Prius. Can buy kit including jack. Seems pricey, but if works, best and most complete solution I've found yet. Anyone have experience with this spare tire / kit?
I got one of their spares, and I'm happy with it, although I've not yet needed to use it. I got the whole kit, with a good jack, ratchet handle, lug wrench, sockets, etc. They do seem to have thought through what one needs.
I purchased a full size rim, tire and jack from an older Prius (junk yard) and carry that on my 2018 Prius. I am concerned that the scissor jack may not be able to fit underneath the car if it has a flat tire and is even lower than normal. The scissor jack is very flat/low. I've not seen a jack that is flatter anywhere else.
