Randall Cobb is a well known professional football player for those interested in who he may be.

I would guess maybe wiring issues ?

 

Actual fault (no pun intended) is yet to be seen. Often these fires are piss poor wiring, then they blame the EVSE. It's well worth it, especially 240v breakers, to be arc fault protected.
The irony is there's a house fire every 1½ minutes.

Are you suggesting that the problem is that the "city clowncil" isn't nice enough to police officers so they don't investigate property crimes?

 

A neighbor’s house burned down the day after they had a sprinkler system installed.
They thought it was the irrigation controller mounted in the garage.
It went to court and the investigators said it was an unrelated wiring issue.
But I wonder if they can ever be sure

 

That employment headcount chart is 5 years out of date. SPD has shrunk since then.

There are a lot more problems than that, including hostile police union leaders that hold the people's constitutional civil rights as subordinate to their union's collective bargaining rights, mayors & clowncil repeatedly hamstringing and driving police chiefs out of their positions, and city leadership unable to coherently deal with a wide variety of widespread problems, including homelessness and drug abuse.

Note also that during those years in your chart, Dems on the city clowncil were the right-hand political wing, not the left-wing.

But not being a resident of the city itself, I don't get a vote on those issues, instead having to experience the spillover into the broader region.
