About 2 weeks ago this showed up on my 2011. I had a shop clear it a couple times but now it comes on pretty frequently .
All lights are on and I lose power.ugh.
I had my son check the cells and he couldn't determine which if any are faulty.
The problem was really bad yesterday.i had to pull over 6 times in order to get home. When I pull over,I shut it down then disconnect the main fuse (big white cord) for about a minute then I'm able to go about 2 or 3 miles.
I'm thinking it's a cell problem, so I'm waiting for an OBDll scanner to do some diagnostics.
Would replacing bad cells be a cost effective solution?
    It has 249,000.
    Thank you for any help.

That's the best thing you can do. There are a couple hundred possible reasons for that message, and only some of them even have anything to do with cells, so mostly distraction and anxiety are what you get from trying to guess the issue before having the codes.

    Thank you

Thank you! I'm still waiting for the scanner. I'm only driving when necessary and allowing extra time .
Do you think it's worth it to replace a couple cells if they are failing?
My son said he could do it.
    Thanks again.

I still say the best thing way to steer clear of anxiety and distraction would be to have your son, say, drive you to a movie or a concert or a beach or a spa or something, and come back to the car thing when you have the gear to read trouble codes.

That also avoids possibly introducing new issues unrelated to whatever is being reported.

Sounds good. I'm still waiting for the scanner.
I wanted to ask if you think it's a good idea to take it to dealer. It's an hour drive and with it acting up , I'm in for a doozy of a trip! They will probably say it's battery problems , but like you said, Monday , it could be any number of things. My son isn't a mechanic.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
