Hello i thought i'd reach out on these forums for some help. I recently backed up and bumped into a liftgate of a larger vehicle and it broke the tail lamp on the top of the liftgate. I got the new part and looking to install it myself, but wondering if there is a video/guide on removing the interior trim of the liftgate. The part that i'm replacing is part number 81006-47041.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Did you end up figuring this out? I'm about to embark on the same adventure, and I'm finding zero on how to do this besides the parts diagram.

The Primes LiftGate is fairly easy to remove by hand, no trim tool(s) needed. It's all snap pins. Take it slow and easy and you should have no issues removing all the interior trim pieces. I've done it twice. It's a bit harder (if you can call it that) to reinstall (as it may appear to be snapped back in place ) when it's actually not fully snapped in.

The only two pieces of liftgate trim that require a trim tool and great care while removing are the two tiny plastic pieces on each side of the liftgate that expose the two ends of the exterior spoiler panel ( that body colored panel below the liftgate glass).
If you need details about where each pin clip is located, there are details and diagrams in the techstream documentation you can rent for 2 days for a fee of $25 ( last time I looked).

Off topic, the spoiler removal process is really tricky even with the techstream docs on the subject. I hope you don't need to do that one.
