Everything's a gamble, but with 160K and the way yours sounded, I'd bet on a simple gasket replacement.

    How's the oil consumption?

Another video, just for the wiper cowl removal, a lot more detail:

Disclaimer on the above, for spark plugs, toyota spec is 15 ft/lb, with clean/dry threads. In video he says 20 ft/lbs, and he slathers it with antiseize.

Attachment has part no's for the head bolts and gasket kit:

But: don't get ahead of yourself, lol. The car appears to be just getting into head gasket failure, just considering your description. The video sounds not bad at all. I would start with a boroscope inspection.

Sounded pretty smooth to me. Limit your drives, just say to drive to shop.

A lot here just keep driving in that condition, then eventually pour in stop leak product, and still keep driving. You're being careful, which is good.

put in an inquiry with leo and sons to have them check out my car, hopefully hear back from them tomorrow
Felt like I could provide a little more context for what I was experiencing so went for I recorded a short ride around my block to see if anyone has any further ideas, hopefully you can hear around the 40 second mark the rattling I am talking about under low rpm acceleration, cold start was smooth again today but this knocking is still present.

@bisco @Mendel Leisk @rjparker Appreciate your responses, the work you do for the priuschat community does not go unnoticed

Wow. That video was incredibly clear. By the way, I’m surprised you didn’t turn off your reverse beep sound. That’s the FIRST thing I did when I got my car!
