I have an EV-Peak CQ3 charger that I am planning to use to recondition my Gen 2 battery.

The units of the User Setting "NiMH Sensitivity D.Peak" are mV/cell, but I don't see any way to set the number of cells per module when charging NiMH.

So is this setting really mV/cell or is it the total mV per module (string of cells)?

My understanding is that, in this case, it’s mV/module.

I’ve had the best luck with using 1.2A-1.5A discharge to 5.8V. Keep in mind that there are 6 actual cells inside a module, and going lower than 1V per cell is where negative discharge begins, but many of the modules in my 2010 never reached 5,000mAh discharges, even after 8-10 cycles. I was only able to revive them by going lower than 6.0V on a discharge.

If your cycle reaches a CAPA or charging capacity, it will stop with that cycle. What I do is set the charge capacity to 8,000mAh and just run single cycles when I have this issue.
