Replaced abs actuator, getting constant beep, no warning codes, abs actuator hasn’t kicked on once.

**UPDATE**
I tested the wiring harness and it checked out pretty good. Tried bleeding with Autel ap200 and the actuator never kicked on. Have decided it’s the actuator itself and will now install a new unit. I’ll update when that happens.

 

I can hear them clicking off and on sometimes when I press the brakes. I think I mentioned that I put the relays out of my car in it.

 

The extra wire has to do with the p-lock mechanism. I think that the wire for that is a little loose so they tried to jump it. I will be able to fix that by tightening that connection.

 

UPDATE*** I installed the brand new actuator and got it running. But I’m getting codes about accumulator low pressure, right rear hydraulic and something about the relay. I got part way through the brake bleeding and got to the right rear to bleed it, but it doesn’t gush out like the left rear. It barely comes out at all. I may post a new topic about this.

 

Ok I did clear codes and what finally got it to work was just manually bleeding the brakes like you see on some YouTube videos. Got through the bleeding and now everything with the abs system seems god to go. Although the pedal feels weird to me. Like it has a small amount of pressure as you press it until about halfway down where it just stops. Idk if that’s just how new actuators feel, but the brakes are very good. Very touchy. Takes some getting used to. Now I’ve just got some battery stuff to take care of and this car should be good to go.

also, any thoughts on installing refurbished hv battery modules to fix a low block? I’ve seen a lot of people do it on YouTube, but not sure how reliable it is. It’s got the replace hybrid battery code, and the block 6 becomes weak code. I can see that block 6 is definitely the outlier compared to the rest.
