The harness was clean 4 months ago, I purposely put block one as the replacement odd cell just in case it failed. (Hoping for a much easier experience just slipping that module out. I located a company that sells new Gen 4 modules and paid them today. The original seller is away until mid-week and I need to get a move on this repair I am hoping that a brand new module from Japan is the right way to go. This new shop is MKE out of WI

Found out why I had the codes the replacement batteries in block one seem to have leaked but only they leaked. Car was kept cool and hybrid fan works

So buying used modules from any source is a poor gamble. Best gamble is from a low miles, low age wreck, as you did. Good luck
with the new module - definitely the way to go.

My personal belief - for which I'll get a lot of flak - is that torque specs are not that big a deal. For any electrical connection what is important is a snug connection with good conductivity.
Don't be hard on yourself though. The broken terminal post could have been damaged in the wreck.

Is it safe to leave the pack with a voltage delta of about .2 ... I have no codes, no triangle etc. Monitoring with Dr. Prius and Hybrid assistant shows that the max voltage difference between the strongest battery pack and the weakest battery pack is about .23 This was after a short 10 minute drive on local roads, will this work itself out over time or only get worse? Can this safely be ignored I will upload a screenshot of the Hybrid Assistant data

I did not balance the pack I was going to set all the modules in parallel and allow a copper wire on each side to balance them for about 24 hours but the voltages appeared identical. I figured two tenths difference is not that big of a deal but I would like to know if it is.

This is not balancing, it equalizing and is largely a waste of time. There is not enough of a voltage potential difference between any of the modules to move any significant number of electrons between modules.

To balance cells (within a module) you need a charger and a discharger and then do a process of charging at a low rate of current (350 mA) until the voltage no longer rises After you reach this point, continue charging for 4 to 6 more hours. Research it in one or two of the good threads in the Gen 2 forums to get details on how to balance your battery. You then let the battery discharge the surface charge. If after that the difference between blocks/modules is no more than 0.1 V to 0.2 V then you can consider the battery balanced. Ideally, you want no difference between any block/module.

The un-expert general observations seem to show that it'll work as long as the maximum block voltage difference doesn't go above 0.3V for more than a few seconds.
