Refuses to disconnectinverter cable, rear grey cylindrical) B+ connector Any suggestions are appreciated! All this to get to the ABS module.... yay! Toyota Prius Gen2 Inverter - openinverter.org wiki https://openinverter.org/wiki/images/archive/b/b9/20200417022840%21Gen2_Prius_DC-DC_Connections.jpg
I'm out here looking at a generation to an '05 I believe this is where the whole front of the car is off and I cannot see a plus b terminal like you have at all I see the openings and I have a great plug and a black plug that go into these other plugs in a hole that a 10 mm bolt holes in but for the life of me I don't see that single plus b mounted anywhere and I'm standing right here kneeling down looking That's really strange
You want to slide the plus b big white terminal gray housing off of the gold bracket Is that what we're trying to do
Yes it does not want to come off of that gold bracket even with that little tab pried all the way up so it looks like I would just undo the gold Phillips screw that holds the bracket down and then spray some WD-40 or croyle on it and see if you can slip it apart that way It may not be long enough coming out of this side cover that the white wire that goes into that plug is coming out of it may not be room to do that
Carve down a wood block against the inverter, to the connector separation point, & use it to leverage off the plug (w a wide screwdriver) (while pushing the button in)
Did this work Is there enough of the white wire inside under the plate that will literally just pull out so this connector can come loose or does the gold Phillips screw need to come undone on the bracket or is it glued under the plate that holds the mess down on the inverter That's a chore in itself just to get that a little bit off inverter It is glued down
The connector separated. Anyone seen the gold Phillips screw Tom's pondering? If you mean the Torx security bit (clamshelling the inverter lid down) , mine got eaten by the bit, was sludge for my extractor bits, so I just drilled it out.
