Would anyone with a Prius v be able to do me the favor of measuring the cargo space dimensions (behind the rear seat)? I have a young kid so enough cargo space for short trips is important. I test drove one, but didn't remember to bring my measuring tape . Having read articles around the web, the cargo volume metrics are not necessarily fairly comparable especially between hatchbacks and sedan so I'd like to have some real measurements. I don't need every nook and cranny of course, just a 'average' width, depth at floor, height to top of seatback, height to roof. Bonus would things like depth at roofline would be great, but not necessary. (P.S. Also considering the regular gen4 Prius, so if you see this and have one of those handy, that'd be great too, but I'll post a separate thread for that).
Floor to top of second row head restraint- 24 inches Floor to roof- 31 inches Floor to top of hatch opening- 28 inches Width behind second row seats- 51 inches Width at wheel wells- 42 inches Hatch width- 42 inches This is for our 2016 Prius v Three...
Thank you so so much! The only thing missing is the depth of the trunk so I have all 3 dimensions! As bat4255 reminded us that can vary because the seat can move, so I don't know if it'd be convenient to do a max and min? Or otherwise just one (somewhere in the middleish?) would be just great!
That's to the top of the headrest or the top of the seat back? If the head rest, if convenient, could I ask for the seat back number?
