An aftermarket automotive GPS with included lifetime updates, is likely cheaper and better than a single Toyota update. A cupholder mount for a smartphone might also be better. Toyota may be moving away from stored-in-car maps. While my 2024 RAV4 Prime does show navigation on the screen, it has mostly moved the maps and guts to "the cloud" and to the driver's mobile phone connection.
Why a cup holder mount? It's so far away from where you need to be looking to drive. There's loads of space for a window mount in the A-pillar glass.
