Had a battery tender plugged in for a couple of days now Started the prime the battery gauge only shows 16% I taught it would show 100% when started
A 12 VDC battery tender doesn't charge your traction battery. The plug within your right side (passenger side) fuel door does. There should be a charging cable in your trunk somewhere. It'll take 4 - 8 hours for a full charge on a 110 VAC outlet. Please read your operation manual........
So I understand what was said by bisco &biomed01 then the 12v symbol above the gas gauge is that the traction battery if so thanks
The battery icon with the pointer next to it indicates traction battery level and which side of the car is the fill port. Ditto, with the gasoline pump icon. The lower right icons seems to indicate how many miles you've traveled on battery vs Hybrid gas power - but double check with your owners manual. Flip through your manual, I believe you can get different gauges and dash layouts.
the pic is not expandable for me, and i don't have a magnifying glass handy. what does the 12 volt symbol look like?
seeing the same icon to the left, next to the traction battery, i agree with biomed01, it is the traction battery level indicator, but they sure do make it confusing.
