In my 2022 USA model under Lane Tracing Assist Turning Lane Tracing Assist On in my owners manual it states that if you turn it on or off it stays in that mode when the hybrid system is restarted (page 310 in my manual). Don’t know if would work in other countries.
I just realized yesterday that I had actually turned mine off a while back (because of windy conditions) and it has been off since then. Turned it back on and then ran into an area that the system had trouble seeing the lanes and started beeping all the time (basically going “I’m on; I’m off, I’m on…) so I shut it off again. I just use the switch on the steering wheel to turn it on and off.
